What this website does

This website is informational. It has no accounts, no contact form, no payment processing, and no advertising or analytics tracking. There are two ways personal data can reach us through it: you email us, or you book a call using the third-party scheduling service described below.

Email enquiries

If you email contact@vortexia.io, we process the contents of your message and any details you include — such as your name, email address, and information about your business — in order to respond and to discuss a possible consulting engagement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us, and, where you are asking us to prepare a proposal, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

Appointment booking through iClosed

Calls are scheduled through iClosed, a third-party appointment booking service. The booking calendar is not loaded automatically: on the Book a Call page you must select "Load booking calendar" before any request is made to iClosed. Until you do, no iClosed content, cookies, or similar technologies are loaded on this site.

Once loaded, or if you open the external booking page, iClosed receives the information you submit in the booking form together with technical data such as your IP address and browser details, and may set cookies or similar technologies under its own terms and privacy notice. We receive the booking details you submit so that we can attend and prepare for the call. The legal basis for loading the embed is your consent, given by selecting the load button; the legal basis for using the booking details is our legitimate interest in arranging and preparing for requested calls.

Website hosting and fonts

The website is hosted on Lovable's hosting platform. Like any web host, it processes the technical information involved in serving a page, including IP address, requested URL, and browser user agent. Typography is served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers and Google receives the technical request data involved.

We do not operate a database for website visitors, and we do not use advertising pixels or analytics tools on this site.

Recipients

Personal data described above may be handled by the providers named in this notice — our website host, our email provider, Google Fonts, and iClosed — each acting in connection with the specific function described. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising purposes.

International transfers

Some of the providers named above operate outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, and our clients are US-based. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, it is transferred on the basis of the transfer mechanisms operated by the relevant provider. We are reviewing the specific mechanism applying to each provider and will state it here once confirmed rather than assert arrangements we have not verified.

Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence and booking details for as long as needed to respond, to discuss a possible engagement, and to meet any legal or accounting obligations that apply to the engagement. We are finalising specific retention periods and will publish them here rather than state a period we do not yet apply. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time using the contact address above.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in data protection law, you have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, and portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time — for the booking embed, by not loading it and by clearing your browser's stored site data. If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
